The most photographed day in Morocco: you cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m) over the High Atlas and reach Ait Ben Haddou, the red-earth UNESCO ksar where Gladiator, Game of Thrones and dozens of other films were shot. Then on to Ouarzazate, the 'gateway to the desert', with the Taourirt kasbah and the Atlas film studios.
