Ourika Valley Day Trip

An hour from Marrakech, the Ourika valley is the locals' favourite escape from the heat: green Atlas mountains, red-earth Berber villages and a river lined with little restaurants whose tables sit in the water. The final stop is Setti Fatma, starting point of the trail to the 7 waterfalls.

Typical day: departure around 9am, a stop at a Berber house and an argan cooperative, arrival in Setti Fatma, an easy trek to the first waterfall (the others need proper shoes), lunch by the river and back in the late afternoon. From €20 per person shared.
